North Korea Sanctions are of various types, depending upon the specific requirements of the government at different times. The word 'sanction' in political perspective means 'approval' for a certain activity that requires prior permission from various departments on governmental level.
Majority of the
North Korea Sanctions are on the country's economic level. In fact, a handful of other countries across the world impose economic sanction over this Southeast Asian country, primarily for four reasons:
- North Korea seem to pose a threat to the national security and defense for certain countries
- At the secretarial level of many countries, North Korea is designated as the sponsor and supporter of international terrorist activities at state level
- As a Marxist-Lenin state, North Korea essentially has a communist form of government
- To a considerable extent, North Korea is involved in propagation of weapons for mass destruction on global levels
These are more or less assumptions about
North Korea Sanctions. In fact, these sanctions are passed by the Finance department of each country who permits the government of North Korea to engage in certain activities on economic, political and financial levels.
Of late, the UN Security Council has unanimously voted for in favor of a resolution that imposed sanctions on North Korea over its claimed testing of nuclear weapons. Not all accepted this sanction enforced on North Korea. In fact, the Unites states of America strongly opposed and rejected, and as a mark of protest, the US representatives walked out in the middle of the Security Council meeting.
In fact, most
North Korea Sanctions are meant for allowing the country to execute the activities that are required by the concerned countries.
