North Korea population is approximately of 24 million aborigines as researches shows. North Korea is probably one of the rare place in the world that is consisted with more that 90 % of Korean residents only, whereas only 10 % represents people with Vietnamese, Chinese, European and Japanese languages.

Population history of North Korea

History tells us that over the periods a number of people has come in Korea and stayed here for a few time, but has not settled down, thus today Korea is consisted with the identical language oriented populations largely.

Male & female ratio in North Korea population

It has been noticed since 1950s that in Korea, female populations has always been more than male population. One prior reason behind this is the males of Korea have often been busy in warfronts since 1950s, and many have expired during war. In recent past also the Korean government has conducted a data base research on the population ratio of male-female in Northern Korea which shows that yet the male population in Korea is of 97.1 % compared to female populations of 100 %.
