The DPR Korea League is the most highlighted division in
football in North Korea which was launched in the 1960s. The popular footballers of the North Korea are Ahn Young-Hak, Choe Myong-Ho, Kim Jong-Song, Kum Il Kim, Lee Kwan-Myon, Lee Han-Jae, Pak Doo-Ik, Ryang Yong-Gi and Ryang Gyu-Sa.
