Ede

Ede is located at 10°27' North and 13°27' East. It is a small town in Nigeria. Ede Nigeria is in the Osun State, which is in the south western part of Nigeria. Ede Nigeria is situated on the banks of Oshun River near Ibadan. However the city is practically built on railroad.

Cotton industry is the main industry in Ede in Nigeria. The city earns its economy mainly from its cotton industries. However there are certain other local industries that contribute to the economy of Ede, which include cottonseed milling, cocoa and palm processing and cotton weaving. Ede is one of the smaller Nigeria cities, but is of extreme significance to the local population, which chiefly belong to the Yoruba tribe.
