Altagracia is a
municipality of Nicaragua, located on the island of Rivas. Altagracia is situated on the north-eastern part of the island. The municipality has a population of nearly 2,500. It has a well-developed infrastructure, which includes several primary as well as secondary schools, health centres, office of the mayor, technological institutes and many more. Apart from this there are several tourist attractions located in Altagracia.
Location of Altagracia
Altagracia is located on the department of Rivas, which is situated on the south-west end of the famous Lake Nicaragua. Altagracia lies on the finger of the volcano known as the Concepcion Volcano. The distance between Altagracia and the coast is nearly 1 kilometer.
