Nicaragua Wildlife comprises of mammals, reptiles, sea turtles, sharks and collection of some exotic birds in the Morgan's Rock Hacienda and Ecolodge farm. Jaguar, Three-toed sloth, Anteater and variety of lizards can be seen.
Nicaragua Birds
Most of the birds are water fowls which are usually found near saline water sources and depend on fish and small crustaceans. Majority of the birds are divers. The rest are shore pickers. The deadly accuracy and the speed of these birds allow them to make rich pickings from the shoals of fish which follow the Gulf Stream.

Nicaragua is famous for sea turtle. Every year large number of sea turtles travel from the sea to the beach to lay eggs before they go back to the sea. The government of Nicaragua is trying its best to save the sea turtles as it has become an endangered animal.
Lake Nicaragua and the River San Juan are the home of the white sharks. The sharks can be well seen by scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming.
The rich Nicaragua Wildlife is a wonderful experience in itself.
