The park contains an extensive variety of flora and fauna. The Chitwan Park is famous for housing endangered animal species like the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Asiatic One Horned Rhinoceros. The Sagarmatha National Park encloses the world's highest peak of Mount Everest. It covers an area of 1.148 square kilometers.
