Nepal Airport


Nepal Airport can be regarded as a great attraction for the tourists coming from various parts. The country of Nepal has airports numbering about 35. Out of these 35 airports, only ten airports have well built runways. Very less number of airports in Nepal has the capacity to enable large aircrafts to land safely.

The country of Nepal is very well connected with a vast network of well built airports. The airport officials are very much friendly in providing various solutions to the problems of customers. Two types of airports are available in Nepal- domestic and international. The domestic airports are smaller in size and are suitable for the landing of domestic flights. On the other hand, the international airports are bigger in size and helps in the landing of international flights.

The only airport of Nepal, which has the customs facility is the Tribhuyan International in Kathmandu. Of the 35 airports of Nepal there are four airports, which have the length of runway measuring 5000 feet. These are Bhairahawa, Biratnagar, Chandragadhi, Dhangadhi and Nepalguni. But the largest is that of the Tribhuyan International measuring 10,000 feet. The smallest length of the runway is 1400 feet belonging to Sanfebagar and doti. The airport of Nepal also has the facility of providing various refreshments to the passengers like snacks bar, restaurants, coffee shop,cream parlor. Some airports also have the facility of well stocked bar.
