Healthcare system has been a problematic zone for the government of Nepal since a long time. There are series of problems faced by the healthcare system in Nepal. The healthcare system suffers due to lack of healthcare activities as well as healthcare facilities. There are several factors that contribute to the poor healthcare system in Nepal. There is also lack of planning and co-ordination in the healthcare department in the Nepal government.
Nepal healthcare system suffers greatly due to the absence of primary health care centers. There are very few good and qualified doctors in these health centers and camps, who can take care of the patients. The staffs related to the healthcare system in Nepal are not efficiently trained and qualified. Apart from these, there is lack of modern and technologically advanced equipments for treatment in the health centers in Nepal. Proper medicines are also not available to the patients at proper time, thus deteriorating the condition of the patients.
Adequate information regarding healthcare is the most important thing in a healthcare system. There is lack of knowledge and information regarding the healthcare system and healthcare facilities in Nepal. Presently, emphasis is given to develop and better the healthcare system of Nepal by training individuals and by carrying out several research projects. l
