Nepalgunj is a town near the western border of Nepal. The geographical position of Nepalgunj is 28.02 North latitude and 81.30 East longitudes. The town of Nepalgunj is over 500 kilometers from the capital city of Kathmandu.
Famed as the transport and business center of Western Nepal, Nepalgunj is the Gateway to Mansarover Lake, Mount Kailash, Rara Lake, Bardia National Park, Shey-Phoksumdo Park, Rara National Park and Khaptad National Park. Nepalgunj town is also famous for the thrilling treks to the Jumla region and the Dopolo plateau. The tourist attractions in Nepalganj include a visit to Ganeshpur, Gharbaritole, B.P. Chowk, Sadar Line, Belaspur, Koreanpur, Mini Zoo, Rapti River, Muslim Bazar and the Indian Border Crossing.
