Pemba Mozambique



Pemba Mozambique is a Port Town and is located in the Pemba Bay which is the third largest natural Bay of the world. The most important city of Northern Mozambique, Pemba is also the capital of Cabo Delgado Province. The colonial architecture of the Pemba Mozambique looks unique when combined with the present cosmopolitan character of the city. The city now has a modern Port, an International Airport, and Hotels with International standards. The City is scenically very beautiful as it is set over rolling Hills and the people live in small wooden huts.

Pemba Mozambique is famous as a perfect spot for water sports. The beautiful coral reefs teamed with the waters full of plenty of fishes are a perfect spot for Scuba Diving. There are certain other interesting locations near Pemba Mozambique like the Quirimbas Islands. The Quirimbas Islands is one of the finest diving and fishing destination in the world. It also includes a National Park. Ilha de Mozambique is a beautiful island near Pemba and should be included in the tour itinerary.

Ibo Island

A string of 31 Island stretches for over 200 Kilometers to the Tarzanian border and the Ibo Island is one of them. A must visit location, Ibo Island is a small Island covered with forest. The biggest attraction in this region is St Jao Baptista Fort which has a rich history. Accessible by speed boats it is also an ideal location for adventure loving tourists. About 150 Kilometers from Pemba Mozambique, this Island is an ideal holiday spot.
