From Tangiers to Essaouira there are 238 beaches and from Agadir to Dakhla there are 54 beaches. In Morocco the beaches around the Mediterranean coast have the climate, which is warm and calm as compared to the beaches which re on the Atlantic side. The water is usually very chilly.

- Grottes d' Hercules: This beach is very pleasant and is kept clean. This particular beach is visited by the tourists mostly and is seen to be full during the vacations in the months of July and August.
- El Jadida: This beach is located closer to town area. This beach is also very clean and the atmosphere here is pleasant.

- Lalla Fatma: This beach is the cleanest beach in Morocco. Here the current is very strong in the water so swimming may not be a very popular and safe option but the visitors throng this place because of its splendid beauty and the serenity of the place.
