According to the 2004 census this region has a population of 1,655,660. From the year 2006 the governor of this region is M. Mohammad Ali El Admi. The region of Chaouia Ouardigha comprises of three provinces namely province of Settat, Ben Slimane and Khouribga. Being located at a prime location this region can be easily accessed by the people.
