The Morocco Prime Minister is the functional head of government of the North African country. The Prime Minister is appointed to the position by the King of Morocco himself.
The current Morocco Prime Minister is Driss Jettou. Driss Jettou was appointed by King Mohammed VI on 9th October 2002. He is a well-educated person and has an impeccable professional standing among his peers in the North African desert country. The present Prime Minister of Morocco is not a member of any political party. He heads a coalition government in Morocco. The present government of Morocco is tilted towards the left. The coalition is a partnership between the Independence Party and the Socialist Union of Forces of Progress. Driss Jettou held the post of Finance Minister and Interior Minister before being promoted to the highest elected post in the land.
The present Prime Minister of Morocco has excellent educational qualifications. He holds a Baccalaureate in Mathematics. Driss Jettou graduated with honors in physics and chemistry as major subjects at the Bachelor level. He also obtained professional management qualifications from Cordwainers College in London. Jettou has experience in managing a number of Moroccan companies. He held the position of Vice President of the Moroccan association of exporters or ASMEX.
