Prince Albert of Monaco was born on 14th March 1958, and became the emperor through a conventional and legal ceremony on 18th November 2005. Albert became the autonomous ruler of Monaco after the death of Prince Rainier III, his father in the month of April 2005, following the rule of primogeniture, which declared the eldest male member to be the heir to the throne of Monaco. He belongs to the dynasty of Grimaldi. The name of the mother of Prince Albert of Monaco is Princess Grace Kelly. He had two sisters named Princess Stephanie and Princess Caroline.
Albert finished his higher education from the Amherst college of Massachusetts in the United States in the year 1977. The main subjects of his study were English, Political Science and Economics. Albert completed his degree of Bachelor of Arts in the subject of Political Science.
