Micronesian Chicken



Micronesian Chicken is one of the chief Micronesian recipes prepared during special occasions and festivities. The delectable dish, Micronesian chicken, is easy to prepare. Ingredients necessary to prepare Micronesian chicken are also easily available in the market.

The ingredients required to prepare Micronesian Chicken are:
  • Chicken breasts ( with bones and skin ) - 4
  • Lemons- 3
  • Onion ( chopped ) - 1 medium
  • Garlic ( chopped or mashed ) - 1 clove
  • Beer- 350 ml
  • Soy Sauce- 120 ml
Firstly, the chicken breasts need to be put into the juice extracted from the lemons. Leave the chicken breasts in the lemon juice for some time. The marinade for the Micronesian Chicken needs to be prepared next. For this, the onion, garlic, beer and soy sauce needs to be mixed together in a large bowl.

The lemon juice in which the chicken breasts are dipped needs to be added to the marinade. The next step requires the chicken breasts to be put into the marinade. Cover and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 3- 4 hours. The flavor of Micronesian Chicken is enhanced if the chicken is marinated overnight.

The last step in the preparation of this dish is to cook the marinated chicken breasts over an open outdoor grill, charcoal or gas, for approximately 40 minutes. The chicken pieces should be turned every 10 minutes and every time re- dipped in the marinade. Micronesian Chicken is ready to be served.
