A violent series of winter tornadoes hit the five southern states in United States on late Tuesday afternoon. As per the official records, over 50 people lost their lives and many others were injured. The worst affected were the Arkansas and Tennessee. The blows of the deadly storm also crossed Kentucky, Alabama, and Mississippi (southeast US).
This deadly and violent tornadoes rip Southern US damaging a shopping mall, a Caterpillar plant in Mississippi, and the dormitory buildings of the Union University of Tennessee, apart from many trees, power lines, and warehouses. The official crew later recovered nine students who were trapped inside the dorm.
According to the experts, the most violent tornado on Tuesday were caused from the clash of the strikingly opposite cold and warm air masses, which ultimately moved towards the East Coast, the Great Lakes, and Ohio on Wednesday. This Tornado in Southeast US - storms accompanied with rain and hail - moved eastwards starting from Arkansas affecting nearly the entire Tennessee and parts of other Southern US counties. The US President will pay an official visit to the affected areas of Tennessee on Friday.
