Getting Around in Malawi

Located in the Southern Africa, towards Zambia, Malawi is a landlocked country with its various ethnic groups. Though it is not a very developed country,
but the people living in Malawi do not face any inconvenience while transporting abroad. Getting around Malawi is not a problem these days since it is served by many international airports. The buses and taxis are easily available from the airport area and take a minimum of fifty minutes to reach the downtown area of the city. Availing car is not a problem for the tourists since important car rental companies are located inside the airport premises. There are several airlines serving the Malawian airports which include:

  • Getting around Malawi and visiting the sight seeing places is a very easy task for the tourists because the country is served by innumerable buses and taxis. In Malawi, buses ply from Harare to Blantyre and Lusaka to Lilongwe (capital). For reaching Malawi, you just need to book your airline tickets in advance and avail the facility of buses and taxis to reach the city centre.
    No international train and ferry services are available in the country.
