Dzalanyama Forest Reserve is one of the key tourist attractions in Malawi. It is considered as one of the nine major national wildlife reserves
in the country. Dzalanyama Forest Reserve is situated in the central Malawi. The Dzalanyama Forest Reserve is nearly forty kilometers south east of Lilongwe. There is range of hills in Lilongwe of the same name. The reserve is situated there. The entire forest area is covered with long and medium trees and the tourists always enjoy the calm and beauty of this place. It is an ideal spot for the visitors who enjoy extreme sports. The Dzalanyama Forest Reserve is densely covered with different trees. The forest, therefore, is a favorite place for the wild birds. In fact, many rare birds that considered as endangered species these can be found in Dzalanyama Forest Reserve. There is a lodge inside the forest called the "Dzalanyama Forest Lodge". The lodge is under private management and near the lodge are some natural pools where you can take a quick bath. The lodge has four bedrooms and a dining area. There is a fire place and a gas freezer inside the lodge. The tourists who come here to enjoy the beauty of Dzalanyama Forest Reserve, they won't be disappointed for sure.
