Agawam is a city in the Hampden County, of Massachusetts, USA. Incorporated as a town in 1855, it is about 2 miles south west of Springfield, and 82 miles west of Boston. The city is a part of the surrounding Springfield metro area. It has a Mayor-Council form of government.
