Cycling in Lithuania is getting popularity with each passing days. Baltic Cycle promotes cycling in the Baltic states and has a partnership with the Lithuanian Cyclist community. Other partners are Estonian Cycle Club, the Latvian Veloinformacijas Centre, City municipality of Klaipeda and Kaliningrad. Baltic Cycle covers a wide range of activities and organizes various commercial and non-commercial cycle tours.
The achievements of Lithuanian cyclists are notable particularly in the World Championship and the women cyclist performers are the outstanding performers in each and every match. The Lithuanian women cyclist started performing in the international platform from 1991 and two cyclists among them grabbed 3rd place in the Women's Challenge in summer 1991. The Ministry of sports in Lithuania is planning to promote cycling at the junior level for the Lithuania girls.
