Vytautas Magnus University: It was founded in 1922. It is an open university where traditions and modern way of teaching blends perfectly. It maintains relationship with many international institutes like SDA Bocconi, Fordham, Roskilde, Alabama, Chungang University etc.
Lithuanian University of Agriculture: This famous university runs programs along with well known agricultural universities of West Europe and Scandinavian. Various research programs on forestry, water and land management, agriculture are run by the university.
Vilnius Gediminas Technical University: It was established on 1st September, 1956. It was awarded the name of the Great Duke of Lithuania, Gediminas on 22 August, 1996. It includes 8 faculties, 10 research institutes, 19 laboratories, Center for Continuous Education, International Studies Center and Aviation Institute
Mykolas Romeris University: This fats growing modern university has got the membership of various international higher education organizations such as European University Information Systems, the European University Association etc.
Vilnius University: Being established in 1579 it is the largest as well as the oldest higher education institute of Lithuania. This university is known as a classical university and is also recognized for the unity of studies and research.
