Some of the Art Schools in Lithuania are
National M. K. Ciurlionis School of Art: Established in 1945 this is one of the major art schools of Lithuania. It was named after the famous pinter Mikalojus Konstantinas ?iurlionis. It provides free training for Lithuanian students but foreigners have to pay certain fees for learning in this institute. This school includes a learning circle of 12 years. The departments it have are music department, ballet department and fine arts department.
Kaunas Art School: It was established in 1922 by painter Justinas Vienozinskis. Some of the famous teachers of this school were Petras Kalpokas, Kajetonas Skl?rius, Vladas Didziokas and Adomas Galdikas. It gained the status of a higher education institute in 1939. This school is an integral part of the cultural and educational environment of Lithuania. This institute includes department of architecture, textile, visual art, humanities, design, ceramics, glass, graphics and interdisciplinary arts.
These two art schools of Lithuania are famous world wide. Students form other countries also come to these schools for learning various art forms.
