Vytautas the Great War Museum, Lithuania

Established in 1921, Vytautas the Great War Museum is one of the oldest and most unique museums in Lithuania. The museum exhibits a vast and interesting collection of weapons, b archaeological relics, firearms, ammunition, artilleries, army uniforms etc. With such a wide ranging collection, Vytautas the Great War Museum narrates the history of Lithuania.

The pre-history of Lithuania including the histories of the Paleolithic period, Mesolithic period, Neolithic era, Bronze age and Iron age. The history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania

• Exposition of the History of Military skills of Lithuania with special emphasis on The 1812 War, 1831 and 1863 uprisings, World War 1, Lithuanian soldiers in the Russian army, Defense of fortress in Kaunas in 1915, development of Lithuanian army etc.
• History of the weapons used in various historical eras of Lithuania
• "Lituanica" Exposition which is dedicated to the pilots, S. Darius and S. Girenas and their flighs across the Atlantic ocean in the plane, Lituanica.
