Palaces in Lithuania reflect the rich and varied past of the country. Built during different phases of history, the palaces in Lithuania served as the residences of the important personalities
like those belonging to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania as well the President of the country.

Influenced by diverse architectural styles ranging from Classical to Baroque and Neo- Baroque, the palaces in Lithuania exhibit the grandeur and majesty of the bygone days. The palaces in Lithuania suffered some damage during the tumultuous phases of history.

The Historical Presidential Palace, Kaunas, served as the official residence of the President of the First Republic while the Presidential Palace, Vilnius, is the residence of the President in recent times.
