Lesotho Media offers the most updated news and information about the country as well as the world. At the same time it is a prime source of entertainment. The media of Lesotho basically includes newspapers, radio, television and the Internet services. Lesotho Media presents news in the following four languages:

In the year 2000, for every 1000 people in the country, there were 16 television sets and 53 radios. Lesotho radio is owned by the government and most of the radio stations broadcast either in English or in Sesotho. There were only 4 radio stations in Lesotho till 2001, which included:

The Lesotho News Agency or LENA, set up in the year 1985, is the national agency for news. The agency mostly takes care of the distribution of international, regional as well as the local news to the media organizations. National Broadcasting Service or LNBS also served the Lesotho Media for many years. Lesotho Television started broadcasting in April 2002 and the entire network is under the control of the government. The television network is available from 11.30 am to 10 pm. Newspaper is one of the most important mediums of communication in Lesotho. Most of the newspapers are published in both English and Sesotho languages. Newspapers like Mphatlalatsane are published daily and some newspapers like Moafrika, The Mirror and Mohlanka are published weekly. The Lesotho Evangelical Church and the Roman Catholic Church publish their own newspapers. Lesotho News Agency is a state run news agency in Lesotho.
