Lesotho Football is the national sports of the country and is monitored by the Lesotho Football Association. Established as the first association of football in Lesotho, in 1932, the Lesotho Football Association received its name in the year 1992. The Lesotho Football Association had been affiliated to FIFA in 1964. The Lesotho Premier League is one of the most popular leagues of the country and comprises 16 teams. Each of the teams belong to various districts. Established in the year 1993, the Lesotho Premier League was previously known as the Lesotho Sports Council.
The Lesotho national football team is known by the name of Likuena or the Crocodiles and is under the control of the Lesotho Football Association. Lesotho National Football Team has won the Runners-Up title in the COSAFA Cup playing against Zimbabwe Football Team. Mafole Sematlane is the president of the Lesotho Football Association, while Mr. Seephephe Matete is the vice-president of the association.

Lesotho Football Association has Lehlohonolo Thotanyane as the secretary and Holomo Molibeli as the vice secretary. Baba Malephane is the present treasurer of the association. Other members include Francis Makhoathi and Setloboko. The jersey of Lesotho National Football Team is blue with green shorts and white stockings. MOHAPI Matheo is the coach of the men's team in Lesotho while Masimona Lethoia is the coach of the women's team.
