Lebanon AID supported the people a lot in their time of need. Since Lebanon was much affected by the civil war there was a continuous need of aid. The victims of war were provided with relieve. Aid Lebanon-CCR continued their work during the war and also tried to fight the after effect of the war. To serve humanity is their main aim.
In 2006 Aid Lebanon-CCR found recognition. As a NGO it registered itself on 7th September in the same year. This civil society organization is not owned by government but it is a non-profit NGO. To protect Lebanese culture and human right are their main objectives.
They also emphasize on community values, democracy, citizenship, education etc. They dream of building a new developed Lebanon based on the values of equality, freedom and justice. The team is very dedicated, efficient and competent. So this organization is improving their performance day by day.
Since this country has undergone massive loss in war, various Lebanon AID agencies and agencies outside the country are trying to make the life of people stable once again. In the Israeli bombing hundreds of people were killed and thousands remained homeless. So the agencies are providing food, clothes, medicines etc.
According to these agencies there is great need for donation. An emergency appeal for $150m has been launched by the UN to help the suffering people. Many of the agencies like Islamic Relief, World Vision, CAFDO, Care International, Christian Aid, Save the Children, Oxfam, British Red Cross, UN World Food Program, and UNICEF have also launched appeals so that the victims can overcome such pathetic situation.
