The Kyrgyzstan Mikhail Frunze Museum is located in Bishkek, the capital of the country. The Mikhail Frunze Museum is housed at Mikhail Frunze’s home where he was born and brought up. The collection of the museum is displayed on the ground floor of the house, which is open for public viewing.
The soviet army officer and military theorist, Mikhail Vasilyevich Frunze was known as the father of the Red Army. He participated in several political activities and wars. In 1905 Mikhail Frunze participated in the Moscow revolution and was arrested for several times. He was appointed as a head of the army during the Russian Civil War. The dedicated army officer died in 1925 as a result of chloroform poisoning during an operation.
The display of the Mikhail Frunze Museum includes records of Mikhail Frunze’s life and that of Russian history along with several other special exhibits.
