A lot has been mentioned about Osh Oblast in the epics of the Kyrgyzstan. In the 10th and the 12th century Osh ranked as the third city in Ferghana Valley. It also had great trading relations with Khanate. Sulaiman Too which is better known as the Solomon Mountain is the most holy site of the city. The climate of Osh Oblast is very cold and the people make preparations to protect themselves from the extreme cold winter. It is believed that the soul of Muslim prophet Suleyman Sheikh lay at the foot hills of this mountain. Every year the pilgrim spot receives large number of tourists. The road around the mountain is pleasant to walk. Many pilgrims pray at the cave. The tiny water droplets in the cave are believed to be the tears of Suleyman.
The "Osh Bazaar" Oblast is a huge bazaar which sells different varieties of products. The bazaar of Osh Oblast in Kyrgyzstan has something to offer to every one. It is the place where traders from different parts of Kyrgyzstan meet. Vegetables, dried fruits, nuts spices, handicrafts and variety of other products are displayed for sale. Women also sell variety of clothes and accessories.
