Health Conditions in Kyrgyzstan have gone through rapid developments. Kyrgyzstan availed the free universal health care of the Soviet System earlier. Presently there are enough doctors, nurses and assistants to offer services to the people. Proper trainings are being given to the nurses to ensure the best medical services to the people. There has also been a rise in the number of doctors since the last decade. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Kyrgyzstan people no more enjoyed the free treatment.
Diseases in Kyrgyzstan
The people of Kyrgyzstan mostly suffer from cardiovascular diseases and respiratory infections. Cases of AIDS are very few in this country. The shortage of chlorine, to purify water has resulted in water borne diseases. People of Osh and Jalal-Abad suffer from gastrointestinal infections and hepatitis. The non availability of pure drinking water is the cause of such diseases. Children are more prone to water borne disease than adults. There has been some cases of health problems in Kyrgyzstan due to duplicate food products and drinks.
The highly qualified local staffs are tremendously dedicated to their service. They spend nights working at the hospitals when there is an emergency. The government is trying to develop the overall condition of the hospitals in Kyrgyzstan. There is a need of proper equipments and doctors too.
