Ever since the market started reviving in 1991, Kyrgyztelecom has been the largest company of network operation in Kyrgyzstan. The main aim being expanding and developing the telecom industry of the country. Almost 77.8% of Kyrgyztelecom was declared for sale by the government in 2006.
Another organization called BishkekTelecom was established in 2006. This is the second organization that held a huge Kyrgyz International Exhibition on Telecommunications, IT and Computer Industry of Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyzstan Telecommunications is a fast growing industry in the country with thousands of regular users of this medium. The ministry had taken up particular measures to meet the target by the end of 2006 and have shown considerable success in the proccess.
