Kuwait is an Islamic country in the Middle East and people of Kuwait are quite religious in nature and visit mosques within the city daily. There are two divisions within the Muslim community dwelling in Kuwait: Shias and Sunnis. Of the two classes of Muslims the Sunnis are more in number compared to the Shias who make up only 15% of the Muslim population in Kuwait.
The most popular place for worship in Kuwait is the grand mosque of Kuwait where Namaz is conducted by the Muslim cleric. Kuwaitis have blind faith upon their religion and conduct all religious festivals in the name of god.

There is an Islamic committee in Kuwait that resolves religious disputes within the Kuwaiti society. Not only that, they are highly learned religious people who preach the religion of Islam to the common people of Kuwait.
