Iraq and Kuwait

The history of Iraq and Kuwait had been exposed to long standing fights that took place between the two countries. Iraq and Kuwait mentioned in one breath remind the people of Kuwait about the disasters of the war between Iraq and Kuwait.

2nd August, 1990 was a gloomy day in the history of Kuwait, when it was invaded by Iraq at a time when neither the military forces were ready nor were the people expecting a war. Unable to defend itself, Kuwait was subject to Iraq's havoc and destruction. Having won the battle, Iraq became the complete dictator of Kuwait. There was a prolonged period of 7 months when there was mass misery throughout Kuwait. Throughout the world people were discussing Iraq and Kuwait war.

The entire meaning of liberty was lost in Kuwait and Iraq made life horrific for the people of Kuwait.
There was no chance of making international calls, Iraqi forces tortured innocent people, there was scarcity of drinking water and Iraq did not even provide Kuwait with food. Many prominent buildings and other important places were totally shattered.

However, with its dint of hope and determination, Kuwait managed to save itself and at last Iraq and Kuwait called truce.
