The share price index also increased from 12,424.6 to 12,491.1. which implies that there has been an increase by 66.5. In the corresponding period the companies that were traded rose from 144 to 155. In the industrial sector there has been a great increase by nearly 100 points with the Kuwait investments in the Industrial Sector risen from 8,365 to 8,465 in the recent year. In the same period Real Estate Investments in Kuwait has increased to 5,901 from 5,858. However, it should be noted that in the same period Kuwait Investment in Banking has fallen from 13,951.9 to 13,916.9 indicating a decline by 35 points.
