The African Volleyball confederation, is an inter Africa non-governmental organization and it consists of African National Federation which are connected to the International Volleyball Federation. In the global platform Kenya is ranked 29th team and 53 National Federations affiliated to the CAVB and it’s divided into 7 zones .According to the sources Kenya has hosted the five nation African zone world championship qualifiers in Nairobi and also hosted the Africa Women's Club Championships in Nairobi.

According to the sources it is registered that in the Federation of the International volleyball (FIVA) women's ranking Kenya is placed 12 and is much better than Chinese Taipei (23) and Costa Rica (33).
