Jordan Airlines

Jordan airlines, the national aircraft of Jordan is officially termed as Royal Jordanian Airline. Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Amman is the base for the Jordan airlines. To honor the late Queen of Jordan, the term Alia is incorporated into the Jordan airlines.

With one flight as Super DC-7 and two Handley Page Dart Heralds, Jordan airlines came into operation on 15th December in 1963. Presently, Jordan airlines comprises of three Airbus A321-200, five Airbus A310-300, four Airbus A340-200, six Airbus A320-200, seven Embraer 195 and two Bombardier Q400/ De Havilland Canada Dash 8. Royal Jordanian Airline has also obtained the membership of the Arab Air Carriers Organization. However, fifty one destination are covered by Jordan airlines.
