- Amman is the capital city of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The city is spread over 19 hills. The most visited place in the city is the site known as The Citadel. There are three museums in Amman.
- The city of Petra in Ma’an is a city completely curved in a mountain. The city entrance is curved in pink rocks. Other major tourist attractions are an ancient Monastery, the royal Tombs, the Roman Theatre and High Place for Sacrifice.
