King Hussein also known as King Hussein bin Talal, is popularly accredited to be 'the father of modern Jordan' and is perhaps the most remembered and revered kings of Jordan. A leader par excellence, King Hussein led his country onto the path of modernization and prosperity.
Life of King Hussein:
- King Hussein was born in 1935, on 14th of November, in Amman, Jordan.
- King Hussein studied in Jordan and England before finishing his education at Royal Military Academy.
- On August 11th , 1952, King Hussein succeeded to the throne of Jordan. However, he was formally crowned the king of Jordan, in the year 1953.
- King Hussein was very fond of sports. He enjoyed car racing and motor cycling.
- King Hussein passed away in 1999.
