King Abdullah

King Abdullah I is the founder of the Kingdom of Jordan and King Abdullah II is the son of the late King Hussein and the present king of the Kingdom of Jordan. Both these kings have made important contributions towards the development of Jordan.



Life of King Abdullah I:

King Abdullah I is also called the 'Abdullah the Founder'.

King Abdullah I was the son of Sayyid Husayn Ibn Ali.

King Abdullah I was a leader with moderate outlooks.

King Abdullah I was assassinated by Mustapha Shukri Usho while he was in Jerusalem, visiting the Al Aqsa Mosque.


Life of King Abdullah II:


King Abdullah II was born in 1962, in Amman.

He received his education at Amman, England, The United States of America and finally enrolled at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurust.

He served the army in various capacities since 1985 till 1993.

He was announced the Crown Prince of Jordan in 1999.

After assuming the responsibilities of the king, Abdullah II followed the footsteps of his father in taking Jordan towards further development and prosperity.
He is striving to further improve the living conditions of the citizens of the nation.

King Abdullah II is focusing on the development of information technology and educational systems on modern lines.

Under the leadership of King Abdullah II, Jordan has become a part of World Trade Organization.

King Abdullah II is also a sport enthusiast.

King Abdullah II is giving his best to carry forward the legacy of the kings who have preceded him.
