Time in Italy means the Italy time-zone followed by the people of Italy throughout the year. Italy Standard Time is GMT+1, i.e. if it is 6 a.m. in Italy the corresponding GMT is 4 a.m. Italy also has a distinct Summer Time that is GMT+2 or when it is 9 a.m. in Greenwich, Italy time is 7 a.m. It is necessary to elaborate on Summer time or what we technically call as the Daylight Saving / Summer Time.
