Italian Opera Festivals is broadly divided into three periods and ages back to as early as the late XVIth cent period. The world opera has been derived from the Italian opera in musica or work in music. The Baroque period in the Italian Opera is classifies as the era which led to the introduction of such class musical expression. The Baroque appeared first at the beginning of the seventeenth century, approximately 200 years before the Romantic era. Contemporary period or the Italian Opera of the Modern period was greatly contributed by Giacomo Puccini. His works like Manon Lescaut, La Bohème, Tosca, Madam Butterfly and Turandot were majestic and world famous.
Another important feature of Italian Opera is the touch of melodrama that was invented in the late XVIth cent, and was considered to be the most complete expression of musical civilization.
