Tuscany is situated in Central Italy and has Emilia-Romagna in the north, Martia and Umbria on the east and the Tyrrhenian Sea lies to the west of Tuscany . Arno river flows through Tuscany. Tuscany in Italy is famous for its varied landscape, which ranges from sea to the mountains and its cultural and artistic legacy.

Tuscany is a town of museum, historical buildings, and cathedrals. The remains of the middle ages still beautifies the city. The fortresses, castles and watch towers are seen everywhere. Tuscany has a major historical importance and the six regions of Tuscany have been taken by UNESCO and is declared as the protected sites. The sites are: The historical center of Siena, the historical center of Pienza, the Pisa Cathedral Square, historical center of Florence, Val d'Orcia and the historical center of San Gimignano.

The wines of Tuscany are famous all over the world and have a large reserved land for vine plantation. The economy of Tuscany depends upon production of wine, olive oil, Chianina Cattle . The big manufacturing units of cars, motorcycles, airplanes and scooters, petrochemical plants at Leghorn , textile industry at Prato and steel factories at Piombino also bring good revenue to the land. Apart from these economical spheres, the maximum revenue is collected from the tourism industry , which forms the vital part of the economy.

Tuscany has ten provinces under its jurisdiction. Florence has the maximum number of population and Siena is the least populated of all the ten province. Tuscan language is spoken in Tuscany , the language has an Italian dialect.
