The Fiji Islands are located in the southern region of the Pacific Ocean. The Fiji Islands are an archipelago of some 333 islands and 522 small islands or islets. These islands, however, are not all inhabited, the main population of the islands are concentrated in the two major islands - the Viti Levu and the Vanua Levu. The Fiji Islands are volcanic in origin, and so beach and mountain terrain both comprise of the land of the Fiji Islands. The other thing to witness in and around the islands is the traditional and cultural influences that have resulted from centuries of historical occurrences. This is quite a multicultural conglomeration if you think of it, with several people of various races and ethnicities living in harmony for centuries.
