Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) is a leader in delivering health insurance products, services and information, to nearly 3.4 million members in all 100 counties in the state of North Carolina, the US. The company has been in service for 73 years. While its HMO product has earned Excellent Accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), its Blue Options plan became the first PPO plan in the state to be accredited by NCQA.
