Company Profile :

Originally named as Asia Life Insurance Company (up to 1951), American Life Insurance Company ( ALICO ), was formed in 1921 and was originally based in Shanghai, China. When the World War II broke out, the company had shifted its focus towards Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, and the Caribbean, and began to offer life and accident and health insurance to the local nationals. Presently, ALICO conducts business in over 50 countries other than the United States. The company is also active in Latin America (in Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Uruguay during the 1990s) and the Middle East Region.

Life Insurance Products and Services :

1. Term Life Insurance issued for a specific period (including level term, increasing term, and decreasing term life insurance)

2. Endowment Life Insurance guarantees a sum of money to the insured/beneficiaries, whether he/she lives until the policy matures, or in case of an untimely death.

3. Whole Life Insurance (designed to remain in force during the insured's entire lifetime) including Universal Life Insurance and Variable Universal Life Insurance
