Volcanoes-The Golden Circle covers the major volcanoes,both active as well as dormant. Mt.Hekla is one of the main active volcanoes in Iceland. The extinct volcano Kerith is the site of a beautiful crater lake.
Waterfalls-The most famous waterfall in Iceland is the Gullfoss Waterfalls of the Hvita river. It is a two-tiered cataract with a wonderful appearance of a sheet of drops of water creating a rainbow in sunlight,giving it the name the Golden Falls.
Hot Springs & Geysers-The geothermal activity inside the earth's crust is responsible for the presence of Hot Springs & Geysers in Iceland. The most famous among the spouting geysers visited during the Golden Circle being the Great Geysir and the Strokkur in the Haudalur valley.
Chapel-The one included in the tour is Skaholt Chapel,the center of Icelandic Lutheranism. National Park-The Thingvellir National Park is a place of historic and natural wonders.
