Festival of light better known as 'winter light festival' is a major event of celebration in Iceland. This is an excellent public festival which is celebrated around Laugardalur Park in Reykjavik every year with great delight. It occurs every year in mid winters just to stimulate and refresh the city lives after the long period of darkness. According to the sources this is the sixth time celebration of the winter light festival in Reykjavik and usually takes place between 22nd and 24th of February.
