The second Hungary Christmas is celebrated with the rest of the world on 25th December. Christmas in Hungary is referred to here as 'Szent-este' or 'Holy Evening' in English. Another significant Hungarian Christmas tradition are the Nativity Plays, which are performed by groups of boys and girls at the houses of their neighbors. They use puppets, special costumes and musical instruments to make the Nativity shows more entertaining.
