Bartok Bela or Bela Bartok was one of the greatest pianists and the music composers of his times in Hungary. The musical composition of Bartok Bela is known for its adherence to the traditional Hungarian folk style of composition. Bartok's musical compositions were often made in collaboration with his friend Zoltan Kodaly. Though Bartok Bela's music was taken from folk music, they were not in the least plagiarized music. He sure borrowed the asymmetrical style of the Hungarian folklore but was otherwise original. The musical composition of Bartok Bela can be categorized to orchestral music, chamber music, instrumental music, classical documentary and the ones meant for musical education.
Life of Bartok Bela
Bela Bartok was born in 1881. He was a genius from a very early age and his musical talent received the right kind of boost as he was born in a family, where music was much appreciated and practiced. The Vienna Conservatory accepted Bertok Bela when he was just seventeen years old, but he refused to move from the Budapest Academy. Due to the participation of Hungary in the World War II, Bertok Bela was compelled to leave his motherland and resettle in the United States. It was during his stay in the US, that he composed the famous Concerto for Orchestra. Some of the best works of Bertok Bela include the Bluebird's Castle, the Wooden Princess, Medventanc from Hungarian Sketches, Cantata Profana, Allegro Babero to name a few. He breathed his last in 1946.
